Ubisoft Entertainment is looking for a Video Editing Intern in our Video Services team. We are seeking an enthusiastic and exceptional Post-Production Intern to work in our Creative Services department on a wide portfolio of videos for our game titles.

Our ideal candidate has a grasp of container formats, codecs, and bitrates. The candidate should also possess editing experience, have excellent organizational, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in digital video format conversion and compression;
• Modifying existing video assets to comply with ESRB standards, first party and other requirements
• Creation of re-edits and cut-downs of online trailers
• TV spots, and other marketing assets.
• Provide deliverables to clients in a variety of specs – ensure that deliverables meet project requirements.
• DVD/Blu-Ray authoring
• Color correction
• Audio Sweetening
• Regularly find creative and technical solutions to post production problems.

• 2-3 years of editing experience (including school projects), and professional work is a big plus.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and/or Final Cut Pro 7, Mac OS, and video formats/codecs.
• Working knowledge of After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Experience working closely with motion graphics artists.
• Must have excellent attention to detail.
• Must be able to maintain a positive attitude while working closely with teams.
