Video localisation
Editing and localising of video and graphics, encoding and quality control.

 

Responsibilities:

• Analysis of source material
• Extraction of localisable text from source
• Creation of project templates for localisation
• Localisation of projects into multiple language
• Encoding
• Editing
• Quality Control
• Managing and ensuring quality of deliveries of localised video to Project Management offices

 

Profile;

• A dedicated professional with experience of video and graphics production
• High level of organisational skills and ability to prioritise
• Thorough knowledge of software tools and equipment
• Hard working, conscientious, proactive, strong people skills, self-motivated
• Excellent English communication skills both oral and written
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, thoroughness and attention to detail are essential
• Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot

 

Skills and Experience:

• Graphical art or design skills
• Knowledge, understanding and experience of typography and font use
• Experience and understanding of bitmap image editing, vector graphic editing, non-linear video editing, compositing and effects animation, video encoding, general video production
• Competent use of Windows and fundamental IT. Mac knowledge an advantage.
• Experience and knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Knowledge of Final Cut Pro an advantage.
• Some knowledge of ExtendScript/JavaScript (for AE scripting) an advantage
• Knowledge of at least one foreign language (besides Thai and English) an advantage.
• Understanding of audio production and editing an advantage.
• Experience or interest of creating videos from brief an advantage
