The Vietnam Communications specialist will be responsible for protecting and promoting Intel's reputation in the country. This self-driven professional is part of the APJ Communications organization and helps drive integrated communications programs, collaborating with local/ regional sales, marketing, and Intel Product Vietnam (IPV) site teams.
Responsible for the development and execution of communications strategies across consumer, data-centric and corporate narratives, they will work to drive product and thought leadership storytelling among target audiences. They will nurture key technology media and Influencer relationships in the market, work with the sales, marketing, and Vietnam Site organizations to create local stories, develop thought leadership content based on local priorities, handle all crisis communications, and manage the agency relationship in Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities:
- As with all Global Comms employees, the Vietnam Communications specialist will be a champion of the corporate narrative and will be expected to know and apply it as well as promote its use with key stakeholders.
- Drive creative storytelling and integrated communications programs along with our partner ecosystem.
- Act as a strategic advisor to spokespersons and senior leaders based in Vietnam.
- Collaborate cross functionally with local marketing, social media, employee comms and public affairs teams to work on a 360-degree communications approach for maximum impact.
- Maximize global product launches and industry events and create local storytelling moments tied to them.
- Create, translate, and localize relevant content applying local knowledge and context.
- Develop messaging for external audiences and manage media response during crisis situations.
- Develop and maintain direct relationships with key reporters and influencers in Vietnam, while managing the local agency relationship for broader outreach.
- Manage Comms events end to end, including press conferences, round tables, demo showcases. In addition, manage Intel's press activities at key local industry events.

- Minimum 7 years of experience in public relations, with a healthy mix of agency and corporate stints
- Prior experience working in the technology industry
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications or related discipline

- Excellent written and verbal communicator
- Ability to work well with a culturally diverse workforce
- Ability to manage challenging situations with difficult stakeholders
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
