Lenovo Data Center Group is seeking a Virtual Infrastructure engineer with VMware and networking experience for our Managed Services Infrastructure group. The Infrastructure group manages, maintains and supports an isolated environment which facilitates delivery of several separate Appliance Management and Systems Management Services to customers. This position is with a small team of seasoned professionals providing 24/7 support. Workdays are typically Monday to Friday 9-5 with occasional callout; however, flexibility is required. Organization You will report to DCG Services Strategy and Tools Manager, you will be supporting customers in EMEA. You will participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and meetings. #### Position Requirements: • 8 years practical experience working in a virtual infrastructure environment (virtualization, server, network, storage or any combination); • VMware VCP Certification or at least 5 years’ experience with Type 1 virtualization platforms in an enterprise environment; • Must have Networking experience, familiarity with switching, VLAN and segmentation concepts; • Solid troubleshooting and documentation skills; • Language Skills – fluent in spoken and written English.
