Visual Designer

UX team at Bentley Systems is looking for a Visual Designer, in our development office in Beijing, China. 

As a Visual Designer, your focus will be to help establish visual design guidelines for the variety of Bentley products. You will create visual assets (icons, UI elements, layouts), document design patterns and guidelines, while encouraging best practices among others. You will collaborate closely with other designers and front-end developers to build and refine the UI/UX Standards.
 

Responsibilities:

• Create high quality visual assets consistent with existing design guidelines
• Contribute to the development of UI/UX Standards
• Contribute to icon library development
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to manage scope and understand requirements
• Support local development teams in need for visual design deliverables
   

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of digital visual design work (websites/applications layouts, icons) and a strong portfolio
• Mastery of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
• Fluency in both written and spoken English
• Ability to translate complex concepts into concise visual language  
   

Additional points for:

• Familiarity with technical constraints as they apply to designing for different platforms  
• Basics of HTML/CSS  
• Familiarity with wireframing/prototyping tools
