Visual L Arts Teacher for IBDP

Job Description
We are looking for experienced, cooperative mature teachers for IBDP, Cambridge A level, GAC (Global Assessment Certificate) and AP High School curriculums to teach students from grade 10 to 12. All the students here are preparing to go to university overseas. Teacher candidates with experience in those curricula would be well regarded. We currently have 6 foreign teachers on staff.
The School’s Curriculum:
Our Dual Degree Program (DDP) allows students to obtain both a Chinese and US (Maine State) high school degree. Our GAC program is designed to prepare students for undergraduate studies at Western universities. Students use English to study other subjects while developing study skills and habits expected in undergraduate lectures. AP courses are included during the senior year. We also prepare students to apply abroad using university application workshops and TOEFL training. We plan to become A level accredited in September 2018 and IBDP accredited in 2020. We are looking at September 2018 start times for these teachers and hope to have them settled in during late August.
Position Requirements:
Visual Arts Teachers:
Bachelor’s degree in Art/Visual Art or related field and a 120 hour minimum TESOL, TEFL or IELTS qualification. Two years demonstrable Art teaching experience. Ability to teach painting, drawing, graphics and possibly sculpture and/or other art forms . Ability to manage a classroom effectively and teach other subjects like ESL or PE would be well regarded.
