Areas of Responsibility


  • Develop and implement a Visual Merchandising strategy in China that is aligned to the Triumph Brand and Commercial Strategy. Ensure clear and successful VM processes, systems.
  • Develop and implement an operating system framework to ensure that the Visual Merchandising strategy andguiding principles are embedded and aligned across the China Region, delivering one consistent framework which improves Triumph brand perception and consumer shopping experience across all Visual Merchandising key touch points in store
  • Upgrade the market VM execution in both wholesale and retail in order to deliver on the Retail Marketing & Brand strategies
  • Provide executable seasonal VM guidelines, directives and showroom guidelines
  • Develop a VM reporting process/system that shows up to date VM executions and KPI data for retail and wholesale. Obtain weekly updates from the regional VM team.
  • Partner with the sales team to create visual strategies for key accounts based upon actual assortment plans
  • Partner with the product team to ensure collections are developed that support the in store VM strategy
  • Drive the local & global training process to ensure best in class Visual Merchandising
  • Partner with the store design team on fixture and concept development
  • Drive and develop the necessary skills needed within the team, which deliver to the company a Best in Class VM function.
  • Partner with the Head of Marketing and Store design, Retail Marketing & Wholesale Marketing to deliver against the set KPIs
  • Develop a world class Visual Merchandising team & structure, set highly professionally enthusiastic team benchmarks to ensure Global Brand ID values, standards & targets within the markets are set
  • Establish a collaborative leadership style which applies the corporate shared values of trust, integrity and honesty to influence target result driven ways of working within the VM Team




Measures of success



The Senior Visual Merchandising Manager will be measured on his/her ability to:



  • Reinforce brand image and reputation by presenting Triumph product in visually appealing, coherent way in the retail and wholesale marketplace
  • The proven ability to deliver ROI on targeted visual merchandising strategies
  • Develop a highly skilled VM team
  • Monitor and report VM & Cost Center budget on a monthly basis. Be positioned to readily identify spent and committed status
  • Deliver consistent, high execution standards of product presentations across all brick and mortar retail environments



Requirements



  • Minimum of 8 years experience in a similar senior role with focus on Visual Merchandising experience in a global organization
  • A good understanding of visual merchandising techniques, creative process and retail environments, is needed
  • Strong functional excellence in Visual Merchandising and consumer journey
  • Strategic thinking, strong operational and commercial minds
  • Extensive consumer and competitor understanding
  • Experience in *** / beauty / apparel business is a bonus
  • Ability to inspire via strong presentation & communication skills
  • Good/Fluent in English, written and oral.
  • Knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign (or some combination of these programs)
