General description：

Direct management of lean manufacturing concept implement in the plant, manufacturing 4.0 projects as well as to support or be each workshop for continuous improvements & MBO.

Job Description:

• Cultivate the Lead manufacturing culture in the plant for different teams e.g. production/ each office team. Plan and execute various analysis targeting at:

1- improving the process quality/yield, capability and stability by A3 problem solving.

2- process or production related cost reduction.

3- Kata project approach.

• Gemba Walk of each workshop.
• Manufacturing 4.0 projects, trigger, plan & execute activities, with reference to current performance where applicable, that will target:

1- productivity improvement

2- return on investment

• Follow up with each PIC for different WCE projects and ensure project completed on time.
• Manage and drive various activities that will contribute to achieving defined MBO and KPI.
• Support customer complaint analysis and to carry out identified corrective / preventive actions under lean manufacturing practise or industrial best practise.
• Liaise with various stakeholders across the company’s and between sites on matters relating to process, equipment and production; that will ensure the timeline delivery of projects.
• Involve in various cost reduction projects, quality of system improvements projects and other improvement programs of the company.
• The job holder shall at all times during the employment with the company, respect and comply with the Thales Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental & security requirements during the performance of his / her duties.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience：

• Degree in any Engineering disciplines with 5 years of lean manufacturing working experience.
• Engineering related knowledge – FMEA, DOE, SPC, 8D, PDCA etc.

• Green belt is the minimum requirement, black belt will be a plus.
• Have drive and energy, constantly exploring new ways of doing things to control or improving process or workflow.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communications skills in English and the ability to work in a team.
• Able to work directly with internal customers/ external suppliers, with high level of integrity and ownership.
• Problem solving skills
• Project Management experience is a must
• Must be able to demonstrate a high level of customer focus for both internal and external customers.

Ability to work under pressure.
