Lenovo's Strategy organization within IDG is incubating many new emerging
businesses to position for growth into the future. We are looking to hire a
Worldwide Sales Operations and Enablement Manager, Commercial AR/VR reporting
to the Commercial AR/VR Lead. Essentially, we’ve created a startup within the
larger Lenovo structure, and we are growing quickly. This role will be part of
the global AR/VR go-to-market team and will interact with a large cross-
functional team that includes our global sales teams, large enterprise
regional sales teams, channel sales and e-commerce teams. The project and role
are critical to transforming Lenovo from a preferred hardware supplier to a
Solution-centric, innovation-driven strategic partner.
As the WW Sales Operations and Enablement Manager, Commercial AR/VR, you’ll
support the sales operations teams globally, and manage the sales enablement
of our enterprise augmented reality and virtual reality hardware, software and
services solutions. This position reports into the global AR/VR go-to-market
team and will be strongly aligned to the Lenovo sales teams. This is a fast-
paced role for someone who has strong analytical and communication skills.
You’ll meet regularly with our global and regional sales teams to deliver
timely and accurate sales measurement reporting to support quota analysis and
deployment, track the pipeline and quarterly revenue commitments, and ensure
these forecasts align with our global supply chain. In addition to the sales
operations responsibilities, you’ll work with global and regional teams within
Lenovo to ensure all AR and VR products and solutions are enabled for our
teams to sell at scale. This includes understanding our product development
schedule and working with cost teams, ensuring part number creation is in
place, understanding order windows, key dates and managing overall ship
support enablement. This is a unique opportunity that requires analytical
thinking, big picture planning, but a true focus on execution. In this role
you will present ongoing status, results, and recommendations to Director and
VP levels. The candidate must be able to "fire-fight" on a daily basis, and
boil up to senior management with effective, efficient communication,
ultimately, driving concept to tangible programs.
Responsibilities:
Sales Operations:
• Manage delivery of timely, accurate sales measurement reporting
• Interface with teams on topics of order load, quota analysis, quota
deployment, attainment, pipeline, quarterly revenue commitments, supply chain
priorities
• Perform analysis around historical trends for futures predictions
• Analyze and understand trends in key metrics, and drive corrective actions
and investigations
• Provide analytics and manage the changes for sales coverage
• Model key metrics and provide recommendations to sales leaders in areas
including but not limited to: revenue, profit, AUR, EUS
• Manage projects for the Ops team - Drive ownership and follow-through of
actions and activities
• Control supporting material for internal communication (ie Quarterly
Operational Reviews, Deep Dives, etc)
• Provide quota guidance requirements to Sales leaders
• Participate in WW and regional sales operations cadences as a representative
of commercial AR BU and align sales action plans with BU Strategy
• Consolidate sales performance – revenue, sales expenses, etc.. and report
to BU finance for consolidation
• Participate and present dashboards at the BU Operations cadence – NPI,
weekly team meeting, bi-weekly ops review, etc.
• Develop, maintain, and update a regional sales playbook
• Understand regional financials (YoY, Qtrly, Monthly) against Budget
• Conduct category analysis to gain insights on regional performance and
opportunities (Rev/C -A, Attach %, Rev, Units, GP)
• Setup regular interlocks with key regional focals
• Provide and maintain weekly, monthly, qtrly inventory/financial/operational
reports
Sales Enablement:
• Work with our regional cost teams to ensure accurate cost information is
updated in our sales systems and ensure accurate and timely part number
creation, order windows, key dates, and overall ship support is in place.
• Run commercial AR Sales operation cadence for the BU by coordinating with
various GTM counterparts
• Build and maintain supply & demand dashboard consists of Sales pipeline &
demand forecast and supply planning

• B.S. in related fields.
• 5+ years working on technology-related sales operations programs
Preferred Qualifications
• M.S in related fields with MBA
• Proficiency in Lenovo’s sales operations process
• Strong project management skills
• Demonstrate financial acumen, systems knowledge, and overall business
insight.
• Proven presentation skills both in presentation and creation.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales goals in a related role
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic abilities
• Superior Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint skills
• Experience with Dynamics, Qlik, SQL, Brio or Hyperion would be advantageous.
• Superior communications skills, both verbal and written, as well as refined
presentation skills with the ability to present to a leadership team on a
weekly basis
• Team player attitude with the ability to work proactively & autonomously
• Candidates with previous experience in the IT industry are strongly
preferred
• Exceptional analytical, communication and presentation skills.
