Job Description
Position Description: The WW Services Device as a Service (DaaS) Portfolio manager will have responsibility to take existing services and software offerings and integrate them into the DaaS portfolio of offerings to grow Device as a Service volume and expand its offering capabilities.  Responsibilities include the integration of new offerings into the DaaS portfolio, creation of comprehensive marketing requirements documents, geo interaction and negotiation, market message creation, product positioning, competitive analysis, launch planning and execution for a global market.  The DaaS Portfolio Manager will be a subject matter expert for customer engagements. This role requires both strategic thought and the ability to leverage qualitative and quantitative data to drive informed decisions and targeted growth initiatives.  This leader must be a change agent who can work with sales and geography leaders to instill Services into the Lenovo selling culture, especially with respect to Global and Large Enterprise accounts. The candidate should have 7+ years of experience in product marketing and/or product portfolio management and past experience dealing with sales leaders in an operational capacity.  Ideally this person will also have a background in maintenance or managed services portfolio management as well as supporting “as a Service” businesses.  Indirect (business partner / channel) experience is a plus as is strong familiarity with hardware financial leasing models. #### Position Requirements: Specify market requirements for current and future offerings by conducting market research supported by on-going interaction with extended sales and marketing teams and Customers Solution development creation with regional DaaS Solution Architects and Project Managers Product Life Cycle (PLC) Management: Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities for the assigned service product lines as well the end-to-end DaaS portfolio Conduct competitive analysis to determine pricing strategy and product features that will be included in the DaaS portfolio offering, including key processes and resources Analyze potential service partner relationships and develop long-term strategic requirements to support assigned services and solutions Serve as the voice of the customer in decisions made regarding future offerings Work with geo sales and marketing to define initiatives to create demand within key market verticals and horizontal markets including print media, trade shows, direct marketing, web marketing, and product training Provide input to marketing staff to ensure they are able to generate high quality sales aids such as product guides, press releases and web content We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
