#### Position Description:


Lenovo TruScale Services team in the Data Center Group is looking for a
Solution Architect to lead our customer solutions as we continue to scale the
business world-wide.
You will be responsible for developing and reviewing customer solution
architectures for TruScale Services opportunities.
Also, you will help shape offering strategy and drive day-to-day execution
across the Lenovo Professional Services team and within the Lenovo Data Center
Group organization.
Our Solutions Architects are experienced technologists with technical breadth
and depth in IT infrastructure coupled with strong interpersonal skills. As a
Solutions Architect, you will work directly with our TruScale customers to
review and develop their IT solutions.
You will partner with Sales, Professional Services, and the TruScale team to
help our customers craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient architectures
that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of our
services. You will provide prescriptive guidance across networking, storage,
operating systems, virtualization, AI/ML, RDBMS & NoSQL databases, Big Data,
and mid-tier technologies (application integration, security, in-memory
caches).
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of large scale computing
solutions and experience leading deep architecture discussions. They must be
self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to think strategically about
business, products, and technical challenges and have a passion for educating,
training, and designing cloud solutions for enterprise customers.
Your daily responsibilities will include the following:
• Collaborate with key stakeholders in services, development, marketing,
finance and operations to ensure continuous alignment on the vision and the
roadmap of the product
• Execute customer surveys and various reviews with sales and other stake
holders to better understand behavior patterns/trends and iterate to enhance
the offerings. Optimize current processes and operations and create new ways
of doing things.

#### Position Requirements:


Who you are:
• 5+ years enterprise IT application experience
• 5+ years design/implementation/consulting experience
• Professional experience architecting/operating solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/MIS, Math or related field
or equivalent experience
• Collaborative approach to meeting business objectives and ability to
influence at all levels of matrixed organizations
• Experience with solution-selling methodologies
• Experience working with global teams and conducting business internationally
• Capability to thrive with a new product in an undefined market
• Able to travel
