Position Summary

Our waiters aspire beyond simply taking orders and delivering food to the table. They strive to provide memorable and unforgettable dining experiences to our guests so they cannot wait to return for another meal.

No prior experience necessary. We offer training to individuals who demonstrate enthusiasm, presentable appearance and an interest in the food and beverage industry.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain the environment in all areas to the highest standards of presentation at all times
• Demonstrate a positive posture and manner at all times
• Always thank and farewell guests conveying anticipation for their next visit
• Maintain station / allocation coverage at all times
• Take orders ensuring accurate and timely processing in accordance with outlet concept and making appropriate suggestions to enhance guest enjoyment
• Perform other duties including but not limited to folding napkins, standard condiments, equipment cleaning and items re-stocking
• Knowledgeable in menu, presentation standards, wine and cooking/preparation techniques
• Equipment skillfully used according to directions e.g. Micros, coffee machines, credit card machines, etc.
• Clean table, pre-set and reset for service throughout service period
• Continually re-stock and maintain communication to ensure no stock outs
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to direct supervisors
• Maintain positive relations with other staff and departments
• Capable to perform repetitious duties
• Ensure highest standard of hygiene is maintained by following HACCP guidelines at all time
• Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by direct supervisors from time to time

Qualifications

Experience

• No previous experience is required

Skills / Competencies

• Must be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environments such as, but not limited to noise, dust, cigarette smoke and fragrances
• Must be able to tolerate second hand smoke
• Valid Macau ID card holder for local application
• Follow the correct safe manual handling and lifting techniques
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 15 kg on frequent basis without assistance
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects by following the correct safe manual handling and lifting techniques with the assistance of a 4 wheel trolley
• Ability to stand and/or walk for an extended period of time during the shift
• Ability to work on flexible shift including overnight, weekends and holiday on rotation basis
• Ability to work on overtime when needed
• Ability to read and communicate in Cantonese or Mandarin or English
• Knowledgeable in MICROS system

Advantageous Skills

• Excellent interpersonal / presentation skills are preferred
