Walmart Business Analyst

The Walmart Business Analyst will help to deliver our Walmart team financial objectives, support our formal Advanced Strategic Partnership planning process with Walmart and manage business and sales analytic needs across the total Walmart sales team (Dog, Cat and Omni teams).

 

What are we looking for?

• BA/BS in business related field, MBA, advanced degree, or comparable advanced experience a plus.
• CPG industry experience a plus, working with retailers in Sales/Account Management, Category Management and Analytics  
• Strong functional and technical, category, shopper, business acumen, and planning and process management skills
• The role will require limited to no travel

 

What will be your key responsibilities?

Advanced Strategic Partnership Support:

Quarterly Business Review Scorecard Management: manage reporting, Mars & Walmart review templates, develop drivers/drags/escalation insights based on KPI results

• Assist Line Manager in facilitation of Advanced Strategic Partnership meetings
• Support Sales Teams (Dog, Cat, Omni): Retail Link/Nielsen data to enable strategy development and strategy performance recaps analyzing impact to category and benchmarked to KPIs

Walmart Sales Team Support:

• Monthly Intelligence Reporting with Mars & Walmart Share-Outs: support Category Manager in creation and ongoing management of Market, Shopper, Category and Omni Sales intelligence reporting, summaries and key actions
• Category & Sales projects: support Category Manager in analytics for Sales & Category projects requested from Walmart Sales Team and Walmart Merchant Team
