The Warehouse Auditor is responsible for the integrity of random inspection shipments in accordance to BD specifications. This is accomplished by ensuring that orders are picked correctly and in adherence to all policies and work instructions.Job Description
Essential Functions:
1. Operations
- Check specified orders as directed to ensure all requirements are met, including; quantity, batch number, material number, special instructions, etc.
- Freight picks will be inspected at two points of the process, first according to pallet content label and the second RF scanned to match to the packing list.
- Communicate with inventory control, order pickers, leads and supervisors regarding improvements, discrepancies and concerns.
2. Reporting/Measurements
- Ensure all random inspection records are prepared in a timely manner and forwarded to the QA dept.
3. Equipment
- Material handling equipment must be operated in a safe manner by designated teammates only. All damage to product, poles, etc. must be reported.
- Equipment must be kept neat and orderly in compliance with established procedure.
- Equipment Daily Safety Inspection form must be completed before operating equipment, document and notify supervisor when equipment is in need of repair.

4. Safety and Security
- Associates are responsible for performing their job activities in a safe and reasonable manner and in accordance with safety rules.
- All injuries, accidents, unsafe acts, hazards or conditions must be reported immediately.
- Report any suspicious persons or activity
- Follow all procedures for battery changing.
5. Quality
·Assist in making recommendations regarding Continuous Improvement of department work processes and operating procedures. Participation in Continuous Improvement projects
- Understand customer quality goals (KPI’s).
6. Sanitation and Housekeeping
- To ensure the cleanliness of the facility, follow guidelines as outlined.
- The associate must maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area at all times.
- Warehouse, Dock and Outside/Yard areas are to be kept clean, neat, and orderly at all times.
7. Cross-training
- Become knowledgeable with the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation. +
Job Specifications:
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- Demonstrated ability to read, speak and understand English to maintain required maintenance records.
- Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of hands, arms, legs and moving entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
- Good physical condition, able to lift 50 lbs. safely.
- Good eye / hand coordination and good motor skills.
- The ability to follow directions is extremely important.
- Familiarity with material handling and radio frequency equipment is beneficial.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
- The position will almost always have exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment, exposure to precarious situations and potential temperature excursions.
- Occasionally the position will have exposure to fumes/airborne particles

The associate may occasionally be required to climb. The job may require lifting over 50 lbs in some areas but not all.
