Objective of job
- Assist the warehouse operation manager in supervising a team of storemen in the daily operation and on time delivery of outbound goods consignments.
Task description
- Management
- Ensure that all task deligated to subordinates are completed within the scheduled time frame and executed in proper and good order.
- Work Processes
- Monitor the daily workflow and identify the bottle neck areas and discuss with superior for possible and outright solutions.
- Ensure to follow and implement the standard process of outbound releasing goods consignments from the warehouse.
- Assist and coordinate with the transport management for the on-time preparation of cargo trucks for the scheduled delivery routes.
- Monitor the timely delivery of scheduled consignments within the work shift and ensure that these consignments arrives in the premises of the dealer in good condition.
- Co-ordinate with the forwarder and obtain relevant documents on the released goods for filing and reporting purposes.
- Ensure the proper distribution of the Picking Notes to the scheduled shift storemen responsible for the outbound delivery of goods consignments.
- Others
- Perform tasks as instructed by the warehouse operation manager from time to time.
- Ensure that all generated DN within the work shift are released and prepare day end reports for goods releasing.
- Conduct orientation on the Newly Hired Storemen and be a coach to the Team Members.
