JOB PURPOSE

Working as part of a dedicated team you will assist in the Warehousing and Despatching of the Burberry iconic range of outerwear. A Burberry warehouse operative must be able to work to the highest quality whilst achieving daily targets and ensuring continuous throughput. They will possess good product knowledge and skills to enable this to happen. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Despatch quantity of garments as set by production performance standards
  • Be adaptable and have the ability to recognise and package according to product destination
  • Achieve team performance targets set by the team leader to contribute to output
  • Demonstrate flexible approach to meet production demands
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of different system requirements for trim, fabric and despatch
  • Seek out opportunities and provide feedback to your Team Leader on areas for improvement
  • Have the ability to follow instructions and Burberry Standard Operating Procedures
  • Protect your working environment by taking care of your work equipment and ensuring your work station is maintained to the highest standard
  • Escalate operational issues to your team leader and work to resolve them by identifying the root cause
  • Adhere to H&S policy and procedures, take appropriate action to escalate when required and work in collaboration with your colleagues and team leaders.
  • Liaise with other departments as and when required
PERSONAL PROFILE
  • GSCE Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Textile background and knowledge of garment construction
  • Previous manufacturing environment with high quality standards
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Precision and accuracy
  • Attention to detail
