Responsible to organize, lead, plan, and manage the operational functions of the site’s warehouse activities. Manages the receipt, issue, and storage of materials, supplies, components, finished goods, and equipment. Accountable for the site warehouse’s transactional operational activity, which includes receipt, pick, pack, ship, and inventory management processes, which has direct systematic processing in Laird’s QAD/ERP systems. Works closely with other functional teams, which includes but is not limited to: order management, engineering, production, planning, quality, and logistics, to ensure a timely and efficient flow of material between receiving, warehouse, and productions areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES：

• Accountable for the overall warehouse operations including receiving, warehousing/inventory control, pick-pack-ship, and distribution of raw material, components, supplies, and finished goods inventory.

• Responsible for ensuring a safe warehouse work environment by monitoring associate performance; equipment, tools, and employee/warehouse work areas

• Maintains inventory accuracy with appropriate materials transactions. Communicate schedules release data and all other logistics/materials requirement information to buyers, planners, manufacturing, and other teams.

• Maintains a high standard of warehouse housekeeping/sanitation, supporting a lean work environment

• Leads, develops, and mentors direct reports; Provides ongoing coaching and feedback to direct reports

• Sets expectations and hold associates accountable; Fair, consistent, respectful, and professional at all times

• Plans and organizes daily and near term workload for maximum efficiency and effectiveness

• Delivers department goals and objectives while supporting the broader organization

• Interact and communicate with all levels of leadership; internally and externally (customer & vendors)

REQUIREMENTS：

• Intermediate knowledge and demonstrated supervisory experience of a warehouse that includes successfully driving a site warehouse’s physical inventory and cycle counts (monthly, semi-annual results)

• Experience in leading operational teams involved receiving, warehousing/inventory management, and distribution of materials, supplies, components, equipment, and finished goods

• Must understand warehouse and material handling operational discipline principles and techniques involving warehouse layout, picking, inventory counting and variance resolution, discrepant receipt management, etc.

• Prior ERP experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) module is required. QAD preferred.

• Minimum of two years experience working as a materials handler in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong/successful leadership and interpersonal skills

• Ability to succeed in a high powered Team environment to drive business success

• Professional degree or equivalent experience preferred with both additional technical and logistic management courses.

• Minimum 2 years warehouse management preferably of a multi-national company.
