Eaton’s Electrical Group is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. This position will be based at our Perth, Ontario, Canada Facility.
Position Overview:
Reporting directly into the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor organizes and directs the activities of employees engaged in shipping, receiving and warehousing processes within the Perth plant. The Supervisor must engage, motivate, and develop the warehouse team to achieve site and corporate objectives, as well as support Continuous Improvement programs, and Health and Safety initiatives.

In this function you will:
- Direct and lead employees through shipping, receiving and other warehouse activities.
- Ensures strategic use of workforce in order to deliver customer expectations, site metrics and maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Responsible for continuing Eaton’s zero-incident safety culture in Perth and keeping safety as the top priority in all decision-making processes.
- Conducts the training and cross-training of warehouse employees and develops a multi-skilled, versatile workforce.
- Completes all supervisory duties for warehouse employees, including performance management, vacation scheduling and daily shift assignments.
- Maintains warehouse policies, procedures and responsibility for instilling culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide operations support; trouble shooting IT, Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other issues that may arise throughout the day.
- Responds to after-hours emergency shipment requests, deals with sales or Customer Service staff regarding shipping options and transportation questions (delivery time, costs, etc.).

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- College diploma or University degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrated supervisory experience.
- No relocation provided. Candidates must reside within 100km of Perth, Ontario to be considered.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience working with a Warehouse Management System.
- Previous experience training lift truck drivers.
- Previous experience leading/supervising team of 10 or more employees.
