Eaton’s Aerospace division is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. This position is based at our Euclid, OH facility. This position must report on-site daily M-F at our Euclid Ohio facility. Remote options are not available for this role. Position Overview: This role reports to the Materials Planning Manager and is responsible for directing and controlling the movement of material through the Receiving, Stockroom and Shipping functions while ensuring timely processing of inventory transactions within the MRP system, to support both internal and external customer demands. The Euclid facility has approximately 300 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of aerospace main engine fuel pumps and components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets. In this function you will: - Maintain metrics for Safety, OTD, Cycle Count Accuracy, Stockroom efficiency, and others as assigned. - The ability to troubleshoot inventory errors and understand the ERP logic associated to problem solving - Responsible for Cycle Counting program, ensuring counts are done daily and timely resolution of discrepancies. - Ensure integrity and audit capability of the Cycle-Count process to apply for waiver of ongoing annual physical inventories per documented plan/procedure. - Train and develop team members as well as provide oversight and coaching to other team members. - Drive continuous improvement and application through the use of the Eaton Business System (EBS), Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), High Performance Work Teams (HPWTs) and Business Operating System (BOS). - Champion implementation of Lean activities to eliminate waste opportunities of key processes. - Responsible for cost out goals and reporting of actual cost out results within department. - Coordinate with internal departments for shipping materials, forklift repairs and maintenance as required. - Coordinate, plan and train employees for annual physical inventory. - Establish performance criteria to measure efficiency within each materials handling function. - Coordinate with Quality Department for Government Source product requirements. - Maintain standard work and requirements. - Maintain stockroom layout to maximize efficiency for kitting processes and ensure FIFO pulling of material. - Ensure integrity of multiple stockroom locations for production, projects and engineering. - Maintain inventory accuracy level of greater than 95%. - Responsible for quarterly review and disposal of Excess and Obsolete inventory per company guidelines. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: - Completed HS degree. - Minimum three (2) years combined experience working in a Warehousing, Logistics, and/or Inventory role in a manufacturing or distribution environment -- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future - This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. - No relocation will be offered for this position. Only candidates who currently reside within 50 miles of the Euclid, OH facility will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations or Supply Chain from an accredited institution. - Minimum one (1) year of experience managing direct reports and/or project teams - Aerospace experience. - Experience with MRP/ERP Systems, Warehousing, Trucking and Freight, Inventory Management Systems, and Cycle Counting - Previous experience managing people in a Union environment. - Demonstrated capability in Organizational and Leadership competencies - MRP/ERP Systems, Warehousing, Trucking and Freight - UPS and FedEx Shipping Guidelines - Freight Forwarders and International Shipping requirements - Inventory Management Systems - Cycle Counting - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Leadership, coaching and influence management skills. - Microsoft Office skills with minimum of intermediate Excel skills (V-Lookup and Pivot table knowledge) Eaton considers qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with local laws.
