Warehouse Supervisor- Receiving Operations

Job Description
Siemens Mobility is seeking an experienced warehouse supervisor to oversee the first shift warehousing and distribution activities of its Sacramento, CA Manufacturing Campus, the warehouse supervisor will be responsible for management offirst shift warehouse employees working within the areas of goods receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping. The supervisor will be responsible for a team of approximately 15-25 employees including 2-3 leads. What you will be doing: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Ensure compliance with inventory cycle count and control processes Maintains warehouse staff job results by training, measuring, monitoring, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees Ensure good condition of facility/equipment through regular audit and implementation of preventative maintenance protocols Respond timely and professionally to customer complaints and inquiries Conducts short and mid-term capacity planning to ensure labor and equipment resources balanced with demand Ensures warehouse staffing needs through recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Monitor warehouse workflow indicators and respond to exceptions Troubleshooting complex inventory location, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping errors. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions Guide and manage adjustments and configuration to WMS system including storage, receiving, putaway, picking, replenishment, packing, and shipping processes.
