Job Description
Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our second shift team. This position is based at our Roanoke, VA facility. This role starts at $19.31/hr plus $1.25 shift differential and tops out at $20.28/hr after 1 year. Position Overview Audit inbound freight for accurate count, damages, and examine products to ensure damaged products are not used in assembly. A few different opens, ideally some candidates with forklift experience so they can be more focused on that. Receiving or walk picking roles. Variety of warehouse responsibilities. In this function you will: Work with a diverse group of people in varying roles to meet daily shipment and receiving goals Receive, fulfill, or ship orders to meet or exceed customer expectations. Work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and dynamic environment Support a Zero Incident Safety Culture Be an active participant in continuous improvement efforts Use RF (radio frequency) units to scan barcodes Have the opportunity to learn to operate material handling equipment Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered.
