The Warranty Claims Administrator is responsible for entering defect code(s), labor operation and billing method (insurance, PDI, cost center information, etc) accurately for warranty and all other claims. Enter all billing information, enter corrections as needed, and scan document(s) (survey forms, supporting emails, damage records, etc.) into VMS.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Verify supporting documents (survey forms) in VMS for claims as required by management.
- Process warranty claims through DCSNET and S-Gate on daily basis and review all error claims for reprocessing. Identify outstanding claims with management in writing in order to keep them informed.
- Ensure all claims are processed for month end billing prior to the close of the month as defined by the organization.
- Review the work orders in VMS and utilize both the labor operations and defect codes in order to provide the proper claims information to the Quality Control and Warranty Manager.
- Communicate to the Parts Department any and all delays in claims payment in order to obtain return authorization for the parts to be processed in a timely manner.
- Communicate to the respective departments billing requirements and further communicate those to the IT area in order to update VMS billing.
- This position will act as a backup for the VDC Administrator when needed. This will include Attendance Tracking, HRP (Payroll) Reporting, Disability/FMLA Tracking and reporting

Required
- High School diploma or GED
- 3-5 years working in a professional office environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, KSD, AIR, DCS, ETK systems
