Your new role – challenging and future-oriented • Preparation of P&ID’s, PFD’s, Process design calculation, arrangement drawings, system description and specifications & vendor engineering for water pre-treatment plant, Demineralization plants, Condensate Polishing Plants, Steam water cycle chemical dosing systems, Sampling systems (SWAS), Electro-chlorination systems and Laboratory system. • Evaluating and negotiating supplier bids techno-commercially and finally initiate a request for purchase order. • Review engineering of documents submitted by suppliers e.g. L3 schedule, P&ID, Equipment layout, System description, ITP, FQP, GA drawing of various components, data sheets etc. after contract award to vendors. • Preparation of Signal exchange list and electrical load list. • Co-ordinate among various onshore and offshore departments for smooth flow of information to meet the project engineering requirements. • Participate in HAZOP-studies, design reviews and design freeze meetings and ensure that corrective actions are closed on time. • Co-ordinate with client and vendors to resolve the various design related issues. • Participate in FAT for various systems. • Claim management with vendors as well as clients. • Preparation of erection, commissioning and O&M manuals. • Support site for various erection and commissioning activities. • Closure of site LOP's for various engineering issues. • Closure of LOP's during warranty phase. We don’t need superheroes, just super minds B.E. / B. Tech/ M. Tech. in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering with 5-12 years of relevant work experience. Conversant with all type of water treatment technologies in Power plant. Knowledge of HRSG, Steam & Water cycle and Cooling Water cycle Knowledge of various softwares e.g. RO projections, UF projections used in Water industry Knowledge of international codes and standards.
