Job Description
Nuclear structure theory group is seeking outstanding candidates for one or two postdoctoral positions at Institute of Modern Physics (IMP), CAS. The successful candidate will lead an effort to develop the nuclear many-body methods and to study the weak interaction process in nuclei relevant to the most compelling problems in nuclear physics, such as the unknown neutrino properties and the origin of the elements in the Universe .
The positions are supposed to support the current experiment efforts in IMP, such as the neutrinoless double beta decay experiments in Jinping Underground Laboratory and rare isotope experiments to explore the nuclear properties under stellar environments.
The appointments are supposed to have a duration of two years with a possible third year extension. The candidates should have obtained a PhD degree or are expecting to obtain one on prior of the starting date and are less than 35 years old. We offer a competitive salary with qualifications and will help apply the ‘CAS Postdoctoral Fellowship’ for additional benefits.
