This team is responsible for building a world-class website experience: seamless, easy to navigate and optimized to meet the information needs of our buyers and customers: leading website development work on everything from how visitors find our website, where they land, how they engage and find out about our portfolio offerings, through to how they convert into enquiries and leads and return as new customers. The Web Analytics Specialist role is focused on shaping data-driven decision-making processes for our public and secure websites, as well as leading the development of a suite of insightful reports to facilitate a world-class website visitor experience, by using data to recommend the next actions we need to take to optimize buyer and customer web journeys and interactions. This role will work very closely with our Commercial Performance Analytics team - made up of Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Analysts - who engineer and transform datasets for use in PowerBI visualizations. Critical to this role is the enhancement, development, and implementation of robust processes for online tracking and standardized metadata tagging in order to ensure accurate, actionable data. Core to this role is an inquisitiveness and curiosity about how we can use data to improve our digital properties and enhance our visitor experience; so too is the desire to experiment with data visualization techniques and innovative thinking about how we deploy testing and optimization, based on hypotheses derived from website data. You will focus relentlessly on how data can be used by the marketing function to make decisions on which actions will best support Marketing in crafting web experiences to delight and surprise our customers and prospects. As a business champion of digital and web analytics, your role will help to strengthen Eaton's data-driven culture by building, managing and engaging our marketing analytics user community and fostering a strong digital data-driven mindset across all marketing teams. Finally, by providing hands-on support and best-in-class training and coaching, you will also guide the business on the optimal usage and analysis of Eaton’s web reporting. Job Responsibilities Manage the delivery of analytics solutions across multiple online platforms and channels to provide accurate, actionable data insights Conduct on-page and in-page analysis to identify and monitor traffic trends, develop and implement strategies to ensure business goals are achieved Plan and conduct analysis of digital user behavior, conduct gap analysis, anticipate trends and collaborate with Web optimization and testing colleagues to identify improvement areas Evangelize the power of web analytics and empower different marketing functions to build knowledge of digital tracking and reporting to drive effective analytics solutions Act as a data interpreter and analytics translator and support marketing community to understand and utilize relevant insights to drive improvement of marketing campaigns and web performance Own and create persona based PowerBI web reports for marketing and content delivery teams Oversee and manage the risk of disruption to tracking solutions during website development and marketing campaign implementation Keep up to date with external tracking developments and share knowledge with relevant stakeholders internally. #LI-ZK1 Qualifications Are you? Required: Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (digital analytics, statistics, business, marketing, IT) 2 - 3 Years’ experience in the field of web or business analytics. Fluent in English. Experience working on large and complex digital analytics and data tracking solutions Experience in Data Visualization to present complex data in a simple, engaging manner Understanding of different digital marketing channel targeting methodologies and corresponding measurement tools to inform tracking solutions Experience of providing solutions designed for use by non-technical end users Advanced Google Analytics / Google Analytics for Power Users certificates or similar Strong Excel skills Google Analytics Data Certificate Microsoft PowerBI or similar data visualization tool Adobe Experience Manager or similar web CMS platform Adobe Target or similar web personalization platform Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript SCRUM/Agile project management experience Digital marketing experience Experience in A/B testing.
