Job Description
Web Designer (Ref: 20003N2)
 
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:
  • Supporting the Project team in the design aspects of the Website Revamp Project;
  • Assisting in identifying user needs and conducting user research;
  • Assisting in preparing and communicating the design plan, website ideas and structure

  • Conceptualizing creative ideas, designing visual imagery and sample pages for websites and social media platforms;
  • Undertaking testing on usability and user experience optimization;
  • Maintaining the websites in accordance with the content standards; and
  • Performing any other duties as assigned.

 

 

Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
  • At least 5 passes in HKCEE or 5 subjects with Level 2 or equivalent in HKDSE, including English & Chinese languages and Mathematics, preferably with a diploma/associate degree or above in advertising design, media design, or a related discipline;

  • Knowledge of graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator, HTML, CSS & JaveScript and management of websites;
  • Understanding of content management systems and search engine optimization principles will be an advantage.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; and
  • Capability to work independently.


Compensation Package
Competitive compensation package including basic salary, end-of-contract gratuity and discretionary incentive will be offered to the right candidate.
