We are looking for a experienced web developer for a 3 month flexible contract in Shanghai:

• Must have experience developing social community and ecommerce websites utilizing the most current technologies HTML5, CSS3 in a Wordpress CMS
• Must be comfortable with working with an early stage company and have a flexible schedule and be able to work remotely.
• This is a flexible role ideal for a monthly contract as a key member of a global/local virtual team.
• Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered.

Core Skills:
• Proficient with CMS editing and backend management in Wordpress, BuddyPress, Drupal
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
• Strong web development and web design skills
• Proficient in the PHP, jQuery, Bootstrap, MySQL
• Familiar with coding and editing Wordpress themes and modules

Additional Skills:
• Familiar with basic systems admin, cloud deployment , cPanel, DNS, site management, site security
• Familiar in the use of web, graphic design software: Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, Acrobat, Flash, etc.
• Familiar with UX design and UI experience

Key Tasks of this role:
• Update the site design and technical roadmap and requirements
• Integrate the existing templates and look and feel.
• Update Design webpage layouts and manage assets
• Ongoing websites updates and project Management

Qualities Needed:

Comfortable working in a fast paced start up environment

Education: College or university diploma or degree in design art or Web design OR a minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience

Additional Knowledge Assets:
- Background in learning, training and development, coaching, personal development
- Fluency in additional languages, linguistics or English training
