RWS Division:

Marketing Solutions practice was formed in 2016 to productize new offerings from RWS existing language and rich media content management and adaptation services. The mission for Marketing Solutions is to create broader solutions for existing and new clients – marrying RWS well established language skills and our geographic footprint with visual content management expertise to adapt, manage and activate global marketing communications.

About The Role:

Marketing Solutions is currently looking for a full-time Malaysian Web Editor to support our client in their KL office. The successful candidate will be working full-time, onsite at our client’s marketing team to manage the tasks associated with their APAC in-market websites (Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Australia). This role is also a key part of our global team servicing our client with their digital content delivery for website landing page designing, social media management, graphic designing, content management and email direct marketing (EDM). Our client is a leading global ICT solutions provider firm. The successful candidate will be offered a 1 year Fixed Term Employment (FTE) contract and deploy to work at the client’s office in KL. The contract will be initially for 1 year and it is highly likely to be renewed annually, pending on an annual performance review with the client. You may be able to work from home pending on your local Covid-19 restriction.

Roles:

•    Website content Review/Signoff 
•    Working closely with content creation team to ensure the quality of the website
•    Using WCMS (Sitecore) maintenance the website incl. News update, content creation for some regional exclusively events promotion and news publishing
•    Prioritizing and managing workload, providing status updates to project manager in a timely manner
•    Owning tasks and problems that arise and seeing them through to a satisfactory outcome
•    Maintaining integrity of website structure at all times
•    Proactively proposing recommendations to improve website performance 

Responsibilities:

Design, coordinate, manage and integrate the daily operation of (including but not limited to):

•    Websites updates or brush-ups, helping internal marketing team to implement the content updates on the English Global master website
•    Campaign landing page (Minisite) creation, implementation and publishing
•    Newsletter or EDM(email direct marketing) planning, creation and publishing
•    Daily content maintenance for various sections on the website: News, Case-studies, Banner and Videos, etc.
•    Develop and provide written and verbal output on ad hoc reports; Use data & insight to help business owners to optimize performances

Required skills:

•    Malaysian national with excellent English and Chinese skills (both written and spoken)
•    Past WCMS-related experience and technical skills (medium-advanced), preferably a previous Sitecore user (medium-advanced)
•    Web content editing skills (medium)
•    Past experiences with local social media account management (medium)
•    HTML designing skills (medium-advanced)
•    Basic level of project management knowledge
•    Graphic designing (Photoshop, Dreamweaver) (medium-advanced)
•    Good communicator and coordinator who works proactively
•    Good Excel and PPT skills (medium) 
•    Willing to learn and adapt to new environment and have strong attention to detail and a meticulous mind-set
•    Experience with at least one of the main web analysis tools (such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics) is an advantage but not compulsory.
