We are currently seeking a Web & Marketing Technologies Program Functional Analyst to join our Commercial Operations Center of Excellence (COCOE) team. No relocation is being offered for this position. The candidate will be based at any Eaton facility in the US. The COCOE Web & Marketing Technologies Program Functional Analyst will work with business teams, functional teams, project deployment teams, Eaton customers and IT staff to design, implement and drive adoption of global web platforms and processes. The successful candidate will design, model, configure, and implement functional software and process solutions to meet desired business requirements. The individual in this role will analyze business & systems processes, recommending improvements that use standard Eaton software and processes. They will participate in implementations and third level support as required. They will have the ability to understand and drive regional solutions and implement controls that are fully auditable and compliant with business and control standards The functional analyst will work with project teams and IT staff to support the entire systems lifecycle (requirements, design, build, test and deploy). The functional analyst will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of program artifacts that define the standard features and methodology for deploying program solutions. These artifacts include program playbooks, roadmaps and status reports. This position will be an integral member of the COCOE Web and Marketing Technologies team, interfacing with global sales and marketing teams. Primarily supporting Eaton.com and My.Eaton.com, the analyst will work with the technical development team leveraging agile and scrum methodologies and performing story grooming activities to get user stories to a development ready state. The individual will work closely with front end system developers, functional experts and program managers on continuous improvement projects and user adoption. In this role: You will be responsible for in-depth functional & business process knowledge of target application related to the Web & Marketing Technologies program. You will work in partnership with divisional and regional business process owners on system requirements, processes, and systems. You will manage requirements scope & disposition through process compliance & gap analysis, integration testing & user acceptance methodology. You will provide knowledge and input on the system implications of business process changes. You will help to identify consolidated, worldwide target processes. You will demonstrate analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements. You will apply project methodology and governance processes to the change control, system development life cycle and regression testing. You will support end to end processes and has intermediate level understanding of system touch points. You will work with the global governance team to ensure proposed solutions are in-line global solutions. You will participate in business process improvement committees as needed. You will demonstrate strong communication skills - able to interact with senior level leaders at divisional or regional level. Qualifications Basic (Minimum)Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required Minimum 7 years of IT experience is required Strong level of system expertise - gathered through numerous full-life cycle projects Candidate must be authorized to work in the US on a continuous basis without company sponsorship Position Criteria: Facilitation, senior leader level communication, problem solving, business process design, experience successfully delivering on all aspects of an enterprise-wide technology project, comfortable in business situations with external customers, and experience working with global cultures, organizations, and teams. The annual salary range for this role is $104,550 - $141,450 a year, with flexibility based on experience and skill level.
