We are currently seeking a Web Platform Technologies Program Manager to join our Commercial Operations Center of Excellence (COCOE) team. The Web Platform Technologies Program Manager will lead a team of skilled IT employees in designing, developing, and supporting innovative solutions to build and deploy web capabilities for Eaton's partners, customers, and internal stakeholders. The team is responsible for development and support of the platforms which are used for: Eaton.com (AEM), JOE (Oracle Portal and Content), and MyEaton (Oracle Portal and Content). The program manager will work directly with senior leaders across Eaton's businesses as well as the IT function to plan program strategy, ensure seamless customer experiences and to execute on the capabilities roadmap. The individual in this role will develop business cases, secure funding, identify technology solutions, prioritize, and lead initiatives, solicit, and act on customer feedback and drive the adoption of related digital tools. This role serves as the top-level manager responsible for the web platform technologies team. This is a manager of managers role with 8 direct and 20-25 overall resources. This team is comprised of onshore architects and support, as well as EITC based development and support. Web Technologies play an essential role in digitizing our company and our customers and partners. The leader in this role will recommend and deliver the best mix of Web capabilities to meet stakeholders needs, improve automation & self-service, reduce costs, and eliminate errors, utilize agile and scrum methodologies, increasing access to relevant information and making it easier to do business with our company In this role you will: Provide commercial operations & digital expertise while driving strategic alignment between IT and sales and marketing teams. Work directly with Eaton's customers to deploy Web capabilities while tailoring related roadmaps to meet future needs. Understand the key business priorities to identify the appropriate use of technology and supported processes to meet strategic objectives. Align opportunities and projects across a complex roadmap, driving prioritization and resource allocation within the IT project portfolio. Regularly communicate and reinforce program/project status, prioritization, and timing back to business and IT leadership, including critical success measures, issues, and mitigation strategies. Understand related analytics inside and out to provide actionable insights. Be accountable for project delivery, budgets, and overall customer satisfaction across the shared IT centers of excellence Supervise and coordinate the activities of multiple project managers, addressing roadblocks and issues as necessary. Maintain working relationships with senior IT management and group vice presidents. Directly manage the work and ongoing professional development of a talented team of developers and architects. This role will recommend, manage, and deploy technical solutions supporting a user base of 50,000+ stakeholders while managing several million dollars in funding annually. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum 10 years of experience in web based delivery platforms Minimum 5 years’ leadership and managerial experience Candidate must be authorized to work in the US on a continuous basis without company sponsorship Position Criteria: The individual should have a broad understanding of digital platforms and web user experience. Formal training or practical experience in most or all the following: Web based application design and information architecture; Enterprise software administration and system programing; enterprise software architecture; performance and capacity planning Broad knowledge of information technology capabilities and characteristics, software programming and applications, data base technology, Search technologies, integration and data migration, hardware/software administration along with Enterprise IT standards and procedures Requires knowledge of AEM or related CMS platforms Requires experience designing and deploying processes and technology to protect intellectual property Requires experience deploying and managing integrated web delivery platforms and components Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices.
