This role is part of a new web team of talented digital specialists managing the variety of web disciplines necessary to operate in an increasingly digital-first world. This team is responsible for building a world-class website experience: seamless, easy to navigate and optimized to meet the information needs of our buyers and customers: leading website development work on everything from how visitors find our website, where they land, how they engage and find out about our portfolio offerings, through to how they convert into enquiries and leads and return as new customers. The Web Process Optimization Manager will own and manage all web-related processes in EMEA, across 40 countries in 20 languages. By continuously steering, shaping and optimizing all processes related to the creation and management of web content and digital assets, this role will ensure that our investment in world class digital platforms are maximised to support the upscaling of these processes efficiently, resulting in timely deployment of web and related content and applications. By continuously looking for improvement areas and opportunities for process automation and optimization, this role will work to discover and implement innovative ways to enhance the functional productivity of all marketing teams involved in the web, including workflows for website content creation/updates, translation, publishing, reporting and maintenance. Finally, by providing hands-on support and best-in-class process training and coaching, you will guide the business on the optimal usage of Eaton’s web processes in order to ensure peak efficiency and operational excellence. Job Responsibilities Critically evaluate and challenge our web and DAM (DIgital Asset Management) operational processes; identify improvement areas and opportunities for increased automation. Take ownership of operational excellence initiatives and projects aimed at a more efficient management of web process optimization. Drive the solution design of tools & processes from idea to implementation. Understand the main web publishing and web performance KPIs and define process improvements opportunities based on deep analysis and resulting actions that can drive impact. Collaborate effectively with main internal and external stakeholders (local and central marketing teams, content creators, translators, IT, Partners) on new process definition or the continuous improvement thereof. Provide expert guidance and coach web user community, content creators and content localization teams to ensure active and effective adherence to defined web processes. Work with web process users (marketing teams, content creators, IT and web publishing teams) and stakeholders to drive ongoing understanding of and compliance with web and digital asset management processes. Regularly use reports to monitor compliance; ensure extensive documentation is maintained and continually updated. Support and direct the content production services teams to ensure optimal web content creation, translation, localization, dissemination and publishing processes. Analyze various data sources and gather/prioritize business requirements in order to identify and drive ongoing continuous improvement of core processes and technical systems. Identify problems, opportunities and solutions, and collaborate with all relevant internal stakeholders, IT and external vendors to ensure synergy, efficiency and value-add. Anticipate web production and publishing bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make trade-offs, and balance business needs versus constraints #LI-ZK1 Qualifications Are you? Required: Bachelor's or master’s degree: ideally, in Business, Economics, Operations, IT, Marketing or similar 3-5 years in process optimization, process automation or similar positions - ideally on websites Fluent in English Experience in creating, managing and optimizing digital processes, requiring high-level of problem solving skills Experience in process visualization, great logical thinking Experience in a large-scale website development and/or management Experience in working in a technology environment: the candidate should speak the language of business impact but understand the technical implications of this, and be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues from both marketing and tech teams Google Analytics or similar website reporting tools Understanding of/experience in website testing and analysis tools Understanding of SCRUM/Agile software development methodology Excellent understanding of Web CMS platforms Experience in digital marketing, including managing websites in a multinational environment Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) web content management platform Eloqua Marketing Automation platform Percolate Content Orchestration platform, or similar Experienced SCRUM master or SCRUM Product owner Visio or similar workflow tools Strong data literacy and the ability to use data to identify root causes, understand problems and build strong arguments to convince others Strong presentation skills and ability to vizualize complex topics Strong sense of ownership and accountability Problem solving skills Strong stakeholder management skills Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with great attention to detail Adaptable in fast, sometimes ambiguous environments What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
