At italki you will work on helping our community learn more, faster and stay engaged while discovering and immerse in a new language. Our team of more than 40 people (and growing) is based in downtown Shanghai and we work in english, but we communicate in Chinese, Spanish, Russian, Italian, French, Cantonese, Esperanto…

What you will be doing
Collaborate with UX Design in defining and maintaining the visual specs of our flagship product (theme)
Create visual prototypes of new pages or features directly in Html together with our designers and product managers
Collaborate with the Tech Department to build solid responsive html and css across browsers

Your profile
You have at least 3 years of experience in web
You have experience working on responsive designs
Proficient in Html and CSS, understand Html5 and Css3
Familiar with Bootstrap and other mainstream frameworks
Some knowledge of Javascript is a big plus!
You have a passion for making great UIs and can talk design
You can easily transform detailed Photoshop, Illustrator or Sketch mockups into live html pages.
You can debug on different browsers, both desktop and mobile
Can work in English, conversational in Chinese strongly preferred.
Self-driven, team player, you enjoy working in a diverse multicultural environment
You are ok working on a Mac (OS X)
