Hiring Now! Eaton's Electrical sector is currently seeking a Mig Welder to join our 3rd shift team. This position is based at out Cleveland, TN facility. Hourly Rate is $22.18 plus 5% shift differential. We provide benefits that are industry competitive and focused on employee well-being. Setup resistance welder to include selecting correct tips, posts, arms, tooling, welder control settings, air pressure, etc. to perform operations. Read orders and drawings to determine procedures and conduct work to drawing specifications. Perform inspection of parts and check quality of welds using a variety of measuring tools. Perform rework operations as required. Cross-train in various areas of the Welding Department. Train new employees Position Criteria: Perform work in a manner that supports Eaton's Quality standards and systems Wear all safety equipment and observe all hygiene requirements as specified and directed. Be responsible for following all safety policies and procedures, and wearing proper PPE Bring health and safety issues, unsafe acts and safety suggestions to management’s attention or correct those where possible. Actively participate in accident, injury and illness prevention activities: Job Safety Analysis and safe working procedures; identify and correct hazards and unsafe conditions; accident, near-miss accident or potential hazard investigations. Keep other employees informed of health and safety practices and activities by actively observing fellow employee work practices and incorporating safety whenever possible. Actively participate in health and safety training and demonstrate competency, based on training received. Work overtime as necessary. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Must have a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution is required Minimum of one (1) year weld experience Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate Cleveland, TN area (50 miles) will be considered for this position Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) years or more weld experience Weld Certfifcation Eaton considers qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with local laws.
