Position: ESL Teacher
Location：Chengdu, Sichuan Province

Standard Qualifications for Position:
1. Native English Speaker from USA, Canada, UK, New Zealand, Australia
2. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
3. Over 2 years teaching experience
4. Outstanding personal/interpersonal communication skills; openness towards cross culture environments
5. Excellent organizational and neatness skills enthusiastic in teaching.
6. Previous work experience with foreigners and Chinese people would be an added advantage.
7. Willingness to be flexible in terms of teaching assignment within the school setting.

Responsibilities of Position:
1. 25 teaching hours + 10 office hours per week in terms of the contract
2. Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity, interest, and abilities of students.
3. Guides the learning process toward the achievement of established district curriculum goals, establishes and communicates clear objectives to the students for all lessons, units, and projects.
4. Support specialized ESL assessments. Assesses the accomplishments of students on a regular basis, provides progress reports as required.
5. Be familiar with METEN’s teaching philosophy and course curriculum (experiential learning mode);
