Your new role – challenging and future-oriented We, the Smart Products & Advanced Technologies department, are an R&D Competence Center for the Siemens Mobility GmbH with the mission to innovate technologies in the fields of digitalization, automation, and electrification in the Mobility domain. As our new You contribute to our code base with high quality, testable and powerful code, you implement new features and refactor existing solutions. You will also test our products and provide recommendations to further improve our services. You work with various databases (SQL and NoSQL) and implement scalable/robust systems to handle large amounts of data. Investigating, evaluating, and implementing new concepts and methodologies in data management for ML development is also part of your responsibilities. In addition, creating common datasets and curating ML models for our customers is part of it. You'll also work with front-end developers and DevOps to co-create full-stack solutions that provide portals into data warehouses. Your qualifications – solid and appropriate You study computer science (or a closely related field) and have already successfully completed basic courses in programming and e.g. databases, algorithms and data structures, theoretical computer science or software engineering. Furthermore, you have a passion for programming and have already gained some experience developing in Python. Familiarity with the Linux ecosystem is an advantage. You value a flexible and independent approach to work and have a strong attention to detail. Furthermore, you are fluent in German and English.
