Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Plan and organize raw and cooked food of the Garde Manger
  • Maintain high standards day-to-day operations in kitchen and food presentation
  • Formulate menus in line with customer expectations, including but not limited to plated appetizers/entrees, sandwich, homemade salad and dishes display
  • Ensure the dishes are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard in preparation for service times
  • Monitor the operation to comply with all local regulations as well as all policies and procedures of Sodexo and the client (e.g. HACCP, quality assurance, safety, operations, HR).
  • Deal with customer complaints

 

Requirements:

  • Form 5 graduate or above, with diploma or equivalent vocational training are preferred
  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in hotel and catering industry
  • Competent knowledge of cold kitchen operation and large scale food production
  • Service-oriented, good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Good communication skills in both Cantonese and English are preferred.

 

Place of work:

  • Jordan (Monday to Friday, 05:00 - 16:00 / 07:00 - 18:00 on shift)
