Job Overview
To maximize retail parts sales and profit performance of Mercedes-Benz Dealerships and MBUSA through the development and implementation of retail parts processes, solutions, products, and consulting programs. In addition, develop strategies for recapturing market share and countering after-market and competitive parts sources and growing sales.
 
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of the Parts Trading Strategy and execute resulting program elements to drive professionalization of retail sales at MB dealerships.
- Support New Program Development and Implementation and execute program elements such as dealer and customer marketing communications and materials to gain support and buy in from the field and dealers for effective and profitable program roll-out.
- Implement and execute the New Parts Line through continued Parts and Volume Planning, execution of marketing campaigns and materials. KPI Management as well as Dealer Training and Communications to ensure broad understanding, acceptance and purchases of the new parts line parts.
- Conduct Wholesale Market Research to provide strategic insights into the industry and competitive environment by studying, analyzing and presenting insights that can be used for future strategy and program development.
- Drive Wholesale Business Reporting and Analysis to understand program performance and assist in future wholesale strategy development (in coordination with BI).
- Manage Marketing Strategy Execution to include Engage wholesale marketing elements, wholesale website management and updates, wholesale marketing campaigns and initiatives, yearly Wholesale Calendar and quarterly StarTuned magazine.
- Serve as local WebParts administrator for local updates, dealer communications and questions, ticket requests and individual account updates as necessary.
- Manage field and dealer communications and serve as point of contact for MBUSA field staff and dealers regarding wholesale programs to ensure seamless and comprehensive communications of wholesale topics and programs and full understanding and support.
 

Education
Accredited school or equivalent work experience with emphasis in:
Business Administration
Business Management
Computer/Information Science
Economics
Engineering
Finance
Information Technology
International Relations/Business
Technical Management-Logistics
Management Information System (MIS)
Statistics
 
Skills, Abilities & MBUSA Knowledge
Analytical Skills:
- Ability to collect data and establish facts and identify trends and variances
- Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources with varied levels of complexity
- Ability to review and interpret and evaluate statistical information
- Ability to formulate and test hypotheses for the purpose of forecasting outcomes
IT Skills:
- Ability to incorporate new technology into current and future business applications
- Project Management Skills:
- Ability to develop plans/projects from conceptualization to implementation
- Ability to organize workflow and direct tasks as well as document milestones and ROI’s and resolve problems
Other Skills:
- Solid technical understanding of automotive technology
Additional Skills
Experience with customer-facing processes or projects preferred

Additional Information Must be able to work flexible hours/work schedule
Travel domestically
Travel internationally
Work Holidays when required

Automotive Retail / Field experience preferred
