Job Description
Eaton’s Power Quality Division is currently seeking a Winder C to join our team. This position is based at our Santa Ana, CA location. *Retention bonus of $500 paid after 90 days of employment. Position Overview: This position requires the ability to conduct the business of manufacturing all products for the customers in the companies related to Power Distribution, Inc., and all subsidiaries which will result in a quality product delivered in a timely manner. Soldering and brazing copper/aluminum fundamental understanding. Must be able to meet production quality standards. (Coil dimension, bus bar location, etc.) Minimum knowledge to wind a standard 150 kva unit. Productivity needs to be between 80%-85% of time standards for winding. Adheres to company regulations and safety rules. Requirements for Set-up and adjust production machinery and equipment, for the coil winding machine. Able to interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and blueprints. Inspects product quality and installation to ensure conformance to specifications Maintain a conscientious effort toward safety. Keep all work areas clean, organized and presentable. Good attendance and Punctuality Comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations. Other duties as required. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation Preferred Qualifications: At least 4 months experience in a manufacturing environment Position Criteria: Ability to assimilate assembly, manufacturing engineering documents and make recommendations based on physical assembly comparison. Appropriate attention to detail. Communication and teamwork skills. Electronic wiring and assembly skills. Ability to adhere to safety requirements.
