The Wireless Access Network Division is at the forefront of the 5G network transformation with slew of disruptive products both SW HW. The WAND group business is based on Intel based processors combined with accelerator engines and Intel NIC cards to deliver cost effective and virtualized solution for network equipment vendors and operators. As Wireless Software Application Engineer you will analyze, design, program, and debug customer issues. You will work directly with various engineering team, focuses on enabling, troubleshooting, and drive the resolution. Driving the task force, internal and customer communication. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, troubleshoots issue, and performs testing and debugging of applications. The ideal candidate will have the following skills in addition to the qualifications listed below. Must be a team player, with a demonstrated experience technically influencing others. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in customer relationships. - Excellent presentation skills, and proficient collaborating in cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Education: Bachelor degree in electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, plus 4+ years of related work experience, Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, plus 3+ yearsof related experience, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, and related experience. Minimum Required Qualifications: Experience with cellular access technology, OS kernel, VM, container and device drivers. 3+ years of experience in developing L1 testcases and issue analysis with knowledge of 5G specifications and functionalities. 3+ years of experience in programming in C/C++ and modern scripting tools, such as Unix Shell, Python, Perl, etc. 3+ years of experience with higher layer networking protocol (TCP/IP) and DPDK framework. You must possess, or be in the process in obtaining, a valid passport with no restrictions traveling overseas. Additional Preferred Qualifications: Possess a strong understanding of Intel Architecture, or another processor architecture, as well as of at least one SoC architecture. Experience in project planning and execution, as well as in system troubleshooting, testing, bench marking, analyzing, and optimizing.
