Job Description

Increased use of data intensive applications by industry and consumers is placing new requirements on network infrastructure. Technology advances in wireless systems allow networks providers to continually expand the capability, speed, and security of their networks. Intel continues to develop next generation, multi-core communication processors while delivering current products to the top wireless and wired infrastructure companies in the world.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following skills:

- Strong team player with initiative, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
- Excellent technical communication skills, verbal and written.
- Strong desire to grow technical expertise in areas such high speed serial interfaces (SERDES), DDR4/5 and Functional Validation board testing and debug.

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications


The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

3+ Months of experience in the following

  • Scripting language: Python, TCL, etc.

  • 3D Modeling programs such as FreeCAD, etc.

  • MSFT Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).


Preferred Qualifications

3+ Months of experience in some of the following

  • Assembling desktop computers.

  • Raspberry PI and Raspbian Linux.

  • Schematic in Cadence or Altium Designer.

  • High speed serial interfaces (SERDES), DDR4/5 and Functional Validation board testing and debug.
