- Leads the TA medical team and manage MSLs
- Develops the responsible TA medical strategy and priorities
- Drives and implements key medical initiatives including patient centric initiatives to shape the clinical practice/ improve patients outcome, medical educational activities, insight gathering activities such as advisory board meetings, and scientific exchange meetings.
- Generates evidence to address scientific/ medical data gaps
- Leads the KEE engagement strategy and oversee the KEE engagements in order to gain medical insights and build up scientific partnerships
- Acts as the internal medical expert to provide input into brand strategy, LCM, and other strategic decisions and implementations
- Provides, as an expert, strategic scientific support on processes and projects within area of expertise
- Collaborates with the SMM teams for global clinical trials if appropriate
- Support the regulatory affairs and access teams for responsible TA products/ indications registration and reimbursement approval
- Represents the Medical Affairs function at external events
- Oversees and delivers medical education and training
- Performs Nominated Signatory review for activities and promotional materials
Criteria
- MD, PhD, PharmD, or other Advanced scientific degree
- Extensive experience of Medical Affairs within a pharmaceutical industry
- Project and relationship management experience
- Advanced scientific or medical degree
- Understanding of multiple aspects within Medical Affairs
- Extensive knowledge of the latest technical and regulatory developments
