Position Description: The HR Analytics Manager is a position within the HRIS, Analytics & Workforce Planning team. In this role, you will manage a small team and leverage gig and university engagements to assist in accomplishing your work.  The role must seek to understand strategic business objectives in order to develop actionable talent strategies by leveraging mechanisms and tools, demand forecast and metrics to drive talent and resourcing decisions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong business acumen and a clear understanding of how to drive workforce panning initiatives in the business. This role will require the individual to be persuasive and influential driving the right processes and behaviors to continue to integrate the WFP strategy at Lenovo.  The incumbent should possess exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written with a strong desire to learn, drive and innovate. The ability to interpret and gain insights from data and then present those findings and recommendations to senior leaders is a critical skill set required for this position.   The candidate should enjoy working in an extremely dynamic & fast paced environment. This is a global role and position will be partnering closely with HR Business Partners, external partners like Gartner and Mercer and with the Global HR Analytics team to design and develop complex organization-wide WF Planning models. The three primary areas of focus for this position are as follows: • Business Acumen & Consulting: Solid understanding of the business & financial concepts/issues.  Ability to consult with the business on solutions to solve their workforce problems and reach their workforce goals • Influence & Presentation: Leadership skills and being the expert in the room is critical to success. • Using data to drive solutions: Identification of data required to meet solution requirements and ability to interpret the results and present in a meaningful way to the business.  Understanding how to drive solutions through tools to automate and enhance the WFP process for the end users Key Projects Currently in flight: • Org Design Support • Skills Planning & Analysis • Site Planning & Strategy • Resource Budget Planning • University and External Collaboration #### Position Requirements: Required Educational Background & Experience • Undergraduate degree in HR, Data Analytics, and/or Data Scientist • 5 to 7 years of related experience • Familiarity with visualization Platforms • Team player with good interpersonal skills • Innovation, Critical Thinking, and Problem-Solving Skills a must • Great Communication Skills both Verbal and Written, English proficiency • Self-motivated and driven to perform Reporting To: HR Executive Director Position Requirements: • Should be able to effectively front end and deploy analytical solutions to stakeholders which includes interpreting data, building a story around it and presenting the same to the HR and Business stakeholders • Project & vendor management ability including strong organizational and communication skills, and team-orientated philosophy • Highly effective and efficient in ambiguous situations • Hands on experience with data & proficiency in PowerPoint & MS Excel is a must • Strong problem solver • Effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of socializing analytical models to internal clients, senior management and peers • Should be able to clearly articulate analytics needs and goals so that proper dashboards can be created to support the business • Should be able to formulate approaches and gather data to solve business problems, develop conclusions and present solutions through formal deliverables • Entrepreneurial Mindset and experience of working in a fast-paced project with tight deadlines • Ability to multitask since efforts will be focused on numerous initiatives and tasks • Ability to pick up new areas and work We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
