We are looking for a computer science student (or related highly quantitative field) who would like to work in software development. Computational Science is at the crossroads between modern applied mathematics and statistics, and we recognize this fact by combining aspects of both in a unique set of tailored modules including scientific computing, mathematical modelling, and data analytics into our job profile. We offer projects aimed at solving complex business problems in the area of financing. In particular, we are currently looking for someone with a high level of expertise in software development, including unit testing, and quality and style standards. The main task will be to undertake the operations (refactoring and code quality testing) phase of our market data engine. Additionally, a good foundational knowledge of data science tools and techniques (e.g. relevant statistical methods; the pandas library in Python) is required What you need to make real what matters. As our talent you are proficient in software engineering principles and DevOps, e.g. creating unit tests, and ensuring high code quality You have some experience in data science (such as the pandas library) You have proficient programming skills in Python Ideally you have also experience in the finance environment Take your chance now and apply with your ability to communicate in English We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
