As part of our Global Talent Intelligence Team, you will contribute to positioning Siemens as the #1 Employer of choice and will support to bring our new data structure to life. We are looking for an undergraduate student in their third or fourth year of college who is highly motivated and available to work part time (20 hours per week) for 6 months and further develop their data science skills. This position is for you if you are: A data detective: you enjoy running SQL / SnowSQL queries and analyzing data in power Bi, and you're not satisfied until you resolve identified issues. A gold medal analyst: you’re capable and comfortable breaking down numerical data and all other sources of information. You systematically probe for additional information to identify correlations, predict trends, and gain a greater understanding. A technical optimizer: you like to improve procedures and processes with out-of-the-box ideas and translate challenges into technical solutions using Python. An inquiring mind: you’re intellectually curious and a lifelong learner; you analyze and dissect things to see how they work and figure out how to improve/fix them using ETL/ELT. An efficient communicator: you effortlessly translating complex business requirements to a non-technical audience in a clear, concise manner to derive meaningful conclusions and present insights and recommendations. What you need to make real what matters. You are enrolled and studying at university with focus on IT Data Science, Statistics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent degree Experience in data analytics languages (SQL+ Python) is needed and data visualization software is desirable (PowerBi, Tableau) Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL and SnowPipe is a nice to have. Experience in documenting procedures is a plus Passionate about contributing to the future of Talent Acquisition Structured work approach and confident in working in a global environment Very good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) You are curious, proactive, highly motivated and enjoy learning. You have excellent communication skills rounded by excellent English language skills. Ability to work independently and an advanced level of problem-solving skills are essential We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
