Job Description

About our team...

As part of the front end team, you will join a research and development team that develops and delivers solutions (TFMs: Tools, Flows, Methods) for complete front end verification system including functional verification, coverage methodology and hybrid simulation environments supported by MachineLearning algorithms that are critical to enabling SW/HW co-design and accelerate time to market for our SoCs. As part of this team, you will be developing and supporting CAD software engineering flows, tools and methods.

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.


Qualifications

Who are we looking for? 

We would like you to be with us part - time (20 hours per week) beside your studies to support your educational and professional development at the same time. We ask that all applicants are current university students and will remain students during the whole length of the internship. 

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must be pursuing Master's degree -OR- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and have 3+ months experience in the following:
Software development: Perl, Python, or Shell scripting
Machine Learning
Unix/Linux environment

Preferred qualifications:
VLSI experience
Source control management tools (e.g. GIT)

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
