Here's where you make the difference The SMO IT Infrastructure team ensures expert support for all the IT Infrastructure Applications and Services and are responsible for regulating IT operations at Siemens Mobility (SMO). Continuous monitoring of processes, target-oriented and fast intervention and a high awareness of all current issues are key elements of successful operation and high user satisfaction. You will be supporting Project Manager in daily tasks, as well as, auditing the data quality for SMO IT Assets in Siemens IT Asset management portal. In doing this, you will coordinate with the participating SMO System Owners,Application department heads as well as the Siemens ITAM team. You will closely work with the IT Asset Management task force to audit and report the data quality of SMO IT Assets on regular basis. You will prepare system updates and support tool analysis, tests, documentation, debugging and error correction. You will acquire data from primary or secondary data sources like ITAM and UPM-X and maintain a data repository (ServiceNow!) You will identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in the data sets from ITAM. You will filter and clean data by reviewing reports, and performance indicators to locate the data inconsistency. You will work with management to prioritize business and information needs. You will locate and define new process improvement opportunities. You will be part of a new IT project, and you will not only learn about Project Management but also, you will have a chance to implement you own ideas. What do I bring with me? You are studying in Computer Science / Mathematics/ Economics/ Information Management /Statistics, or a comparable course of study. You have strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data. You have basic knowledge of working on statistics using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Microsoft Excel) and databases (SQL etc.). You have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. You have an expertise at queries, report writing and presenting important findings to the Business heads and Project Managers. You have the soft skills, problem-solver, and quick-learner mindset. You have excellent communication skills and can work with colleagues across different teams in SMO. Very good English skills (minimum C1). What can we offer to you?
