Change the future with us. Our R&D department develops technologies for the future of additive manufacturing on an industrial scale. We always focus on specific products and applications in order to develop new products and solutions for the Siemens Business Units. An essential part of our work consists of innovations in the field of plant and control technology as well as in materials engineering. Your work will take place in the area of smart web applications to monitor robot-based additive manufacturing processes. You will extend a modular dashboard which visualizes time-series data, images, video streams and which highlights the most relevant results of AI analysis of the data. Furthermore, you will develop a tool to allow users without programming knowledge to configure the layout and to personalize settings. You will implement your web application using JavaScript (specifically vue.js) in a docker-based software architecture which runs on the Siemens IoT platform and test it in an industrial environment. What you need to make real what matters. You are currently enrolled in a technical or scientific degree program, e.g., computer science or engineering, and have successfully completed a bachelor's degree. You are familiar with common web technologies and programming, in particular JavaScript and Docker. You have already worked with frontend frameworks such as Vue, Angular or React You have a strong interest and experience in web design and user interfaces. Personally, you impress us with a high level of initiative, analytical thinking as well as a structured and independent way of working. You have good English and/or German skills.
