RD China Workshop is a central place to prepare all testing vehicles according to different testing requirements. It is located in the newly opened “R&D Tech Center China” in BDA, which witnesses Daimler’s strengthened R&D footprint and technological capabilities in China. Equipped with the most advanced working facility and teamed up with a passionate young group, we are focusing on testing vehicle buildup & retrofit, field testing support and remote trouble shooting, starting from the first prototype rolls out of BBAC pilot plant.
Task description
- Communication and cooperation with internal and external parties in terms of testing vehicle buildup. Understand the general technical requirements (e.g. BOM, working instruction etc.) and task timeline.
- Conduct retrofit work independently or in teamwork for different topics (e.g. EE system, HV Battery, Powertrain etc.), and ensure results can fulfill Mercedes Benz quality standards.
- Technical support of testing vehicle preparation and document all relevant work in RD system in a cautious manner
- Ensure all the testing vehicles reach testing ready status according to different testing requirement
- Support different field tests and provide on-site trouble shooting and emergency repair
