Position Description: Can you manage account relationships and act as a trusted advisor for our customers? Can you develop strategies for business expansion as well as new customer acquisition? As a member of our dynamic and high performing sales team you will work alongside our account managers in the Enterprise (>1000 employee) sales team. Working extensively with our Technologists; Marketing; Business Partners and EMEA product management teams you will architect winning solutions and customer propositions. You will be recognised as a technology evangelist and trusted advisor. You will report to our UKI Workstation Leader based in the UK. Your location is flexible across the country, however being in the south of England is an advantage to be close to customers. You will ensure focus on the Workstation line of business to meet and exceed the revenue, margin and market share targets. You will also engage with extended teams in UK&I and EMEA in helping to set UK&I Workstation strategy across Sales and Marketing. You will assist sales with customer proposals, as well as communicate and understand Total Cost of Ownership, industry trends, and critical success factors for an effective rollout. What else is waiting for you in this role? • Protect and grow revenue and profit streams across the existing customer base. • Establish relationships at multiple levels within a customer & drive line of business expansion, aligning our solutions to their business needs. • Drive marketing activities to stimulate interest and broaden Lenovo’s reach in new markets and customers • Grow the understanding and capability of the sales community positioning workstation solutions, undertake product and solution updates and briefings to the sales community as well as end customers • Differentiate Lenovo from the competition • Attend and contribute to weekly cadence calls; Pipeline calls and SAM territory reviews • Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings • Contribute to Account Planning and territory reviews agreeing clear actions for growth. #### Position Requirements: • 5+ years of sales experience in a customer facing role or a technical sales role within the IT industry • Understanding of the IT market, competitive solutions and the ability to articulate a full solution across hardware, software and services • Excellent presentation and communication skills, pro-active mentality • Ability to close leads & carry a quota • Product knowledge across Notebooks, Desktops and Visuals is an advantage, however we are also open if you worked with software, data centres or other IT solutions – Your commitment & understanding of solutions is key, we can always teach you about our product portfolio What we will offer you: • An open and stimulating environment within one of the most forward thinking IT companies • Flat structures and fast decision-making processes • A modern and flexible way of working to combine personal and professional life • An international team with a high focus on diversity • Attractive compensation package Lenovo is a US $50 billion global Fortune 500 company, and we rank #212 and are a leader in providing innovative consumer, commercial and enterprise technologies.
