Job Description

GroupM is the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Client Engagement Associate Director, to work across our GroupM’s three media agency Strategic and Tactical teams to assist internal and advertiser education, consulting and joint planning to deliver data-driven /programmatic campaigns and bring value and insights that demonstrate benefits to client’s business as in this digital transformation era.

Measures of success:

In three months

  • Equipped with knowledge of Xaxis programmatic buying process.
  • Understand [m]platform, Copilot AI.
  • Understand Xaxis product solutions and selling points to clients.
  • Be able to lead and manage programmatic campaigns independently and deliver client briefed outcomes eventually.

In six months

  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the business (within GroupM) to identify and implement programmatic planning strategies and Xaxis products.
  • Equipped with outcome consulting and account serving ability including deliver programmatic media strategy, data insights, move client from standard buying outcomes to its desired custom outcomes.

In 12 months

  • Creating custom outcome projects, initiating and realizing product ideas together with brands, agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage existing and developing new relationships with clients and agencies.

3 best things about the job:

  • Experience at or with DSP (DV360, TTD, Appnexus, Oath…etc) or DMP ( Adobe, Bluekai …etc) company.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the digital landscape and major players in the marketplace.
  • Digital media planning or buying experience in 4A agencies.

Responsibilities :

  • Reporting to the Client Engagement Director, with the following missions:
  • Build a trusted relationship with the respectively responsible agency clients, and set up a programmatic step-by-step growth strategy by advertisers.
  • Align with trader team and APAC regional team to provide excellent account servicing and ensure clients’ campaign deliver against expectation.
  • Being responsible for the knowledge transfer of regional outcome media planning projects and functionality, also be brave to challenge conventional solutions and wisdom.
  • Able to lead team to cope with frustration during transformation and need minimum supervision.

What You Will Need:

  • At least 8 years’ experience in account servicing in TW digital industry, with DSP advertising technology experience is preferred.
  • Having experience working with agencies is highly preferable
  • Excellent written and presentation skills, both in Chinese and English.
  • Comfortable with numbers and calculations
  • Have experience with data and campaign analytics and insights
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
